Position: Report Developer/Data Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 12 Months Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION
The report developer/data analyst is responsible for the creation, design and support of Human Resources (HR) functional reporting and analysis needs. Responsibilities include assisting the HR users with interpreting PeopleSoft HR data & reports; coordinating with the HR users to determine the applications & reporting and analytical needs; and creating Firm-wide HR analytical reports as well as specific HR departmental reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position within the SVR program will need to:
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal and external
reports and key performance indicators utilizing PeopleSoft or other core HR application query tools and/or Microsoft Reporting Services. These reports include recruiting, attorney and employee trend analyses, forecasting, and performance analytics.
- Develop or enhance quality control reports and electronic monitoring to assure regulatory and data quality compliance.
- Provide requested data via reports to auditors or internal users as appropriate.
- Assist with analyzing and prioritizing business processes and user application requests to ensure that cross-functional teams fully understand the impact of decisions made during construction and configuration.
- Serve as a facilitator and technical resource throughout SVR implementation and provide functional
application and subject matter expertise for various PeopleSoft and other application modules. - Assist HR users with interpreting PeopleSoft HR data and reports.
- Responsible for testing and validating information in newly created reports and preparing user specific documentation.
- Responsible for preparing, mapping, testing and monitoring key HR data elements for successful conversion into the new enterprise data warehouse.
- Write functional and technical specifications including application design changes and integrations for development.
- Consult with users to clarify work requests and implementation plans.
- Ensure system and data integrity by overseeing the input and output processes.
