Description

The successful candidate will design documents, develop, and test objects according to requirements and data model given within the MicroStrategy/Informatica applications.

• General understanding of  BI dimensional data modeling  & Enterprise BI concepts
• Development experience with MicroStrategy reporting suite, specifically  MicroStrategy Architect, MicroStrategy Desktop, MicroStrategy Web
  1. Experience  designing ,developing and testing scalable, maintainable Schema Objects and  Public Objects (advanced)
  2. Practical working knowledge of Reports and Dashboards  for Unit/Regression testing and to assist clients in trouble shooting issues
• Strong SQL skills, Netezza a plus
• Ability to understand business problems and opportunities
• Understanding of Analysis & Design principles for BI
• Knowledge of Test Environment and Configuration Processes
• Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills in both technical and non-technical terms
• Strong analytical skills, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining deadlines

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5 – 7 years IT experience
• Ability to do advance public objects

Required Technologies:

• MicroStrategy v9.2.1, Oracle v10g, SQL, AQT

Optional Technologies:

• Informatica, Unix, Netezza
