Oracle Functional Regression Tester with Selenium and JMeter experience

Looking for a Oracle BRM Tester

 

Location: San Antonio Texas

Duration: 1 yr

 

Responsibilities:

 

Lead the Testing Strategy for the Next Gen Billing system in terms of Functional, Regression, Volume, Performance and System Testing.

 

Work with Business Analysts and Development team to understand the requirements, build acceptance criteria and design test cases

 

Actively participate in Sprint Planning and accurately estimate the LOE for all testing tasks

 

Mentor other test engineers in terms of Billing domain expertise and testing methodology

 

Automate and execute regression test cases and report the progress and results to the Management team in a timely manner

 

Debug and perform root cause analysis

 

Qualifications:

 

Must Have:

 

Experience in the Utility Billing Industry  - IS A MUST – SELENIUM/JMETER/CUCUMBER AND SOAP UI TESTING IS A MUST

 

8-10 years of overall experience in all the phases of testing

 

4 years of hands on experience with Functional, Integration and Performance testing of Billing solutions

 

Deep understanding of software development life cycle methodologies and especially with Agile/SCRUM model

 

Experience testing high availability architecture

 

Expert in at least in 2 test automation tools (including but not limited to Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber, Soap UI)

 

Experience in interface testing of a commercial utility billing system (eg: BRM, Amdocs, CSG, Convergy, Infranet) with 3rd party Taxing, Payment gateway

              

Ability to write Complex SQL’s to join the tables and validate the data

 

Excellent communication and inter personal skills
