Requirement:

Job Title: Oracle EBS Developer

Duration : 6 Months

Location : Houston, TX

Required:

 

- 3-5 Years Oracle EBS Development

- Forms/Reports/PL-SQL

- 11i or R12 applicable experience

- Any Oracle EBS Modules experience is considered

- Willingness to learn Informatica

This position will be responsible both the hands on creation of customizations and custom code as well as the supervision of others developing the code. The ability to develop technical solutions to business problems using oracle technologies is critical and the ability to develop technical specifications will be required. This will include implementation and day to day operation of Version Control Software such as PVCS to manage Client Custom code to ensure the protection of custom code through the full development cycle.Set up and documentation of best practices required to support development of Oracle personalization’s and Client customizations. These will include Reporting, Workflow, Menu Setup, Custom Forms, Flex fields, Custom Forms and SOA suite based Interfaces. Experience in working with the following tools will be required:

Toad/SQL Developer                            Oracle SQL Development

JDeveloper                                            Oracle Web Development/Workflow/Interfacing

Oracle Workflow Builder                      Oracle Workflow

PVCS                                                      Version Control Software

Oracle Forms                                         Custom Forms

This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training plans for the Technical Team. A key part of this function will be the management of and Knowledge transfer to other Technical Team members.

Troubleshoot questions and problems from the BA’s with Oracle Application issues.

Communicate business needs relative to gaps in Oracle functionality to Client Technical Lead.

Assist in identifying new potential areas of benefit for Oracle applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP applications

Experience working in a multi language/multi country environment desirable

Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively both orally and in writing

Ability to train and provide support to Oracle EBS support group

Ability to perform system troubleshooting of Oracle ERP application problems

Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with business units and other associates

Excellent Organizational Skills

Strong Team Player a Must

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

5+ years Oracle EBS Development

Java Experience

Experience with Web Services

Experienced in working with a group of Developers rather than alone

B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field
