Sr. Project Manager
PREREQUISITES
Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years of experience
PMI PMP Certification Preferred or Extended Experience
At least four to six years of project management experience
Experience operating within a validated systems environment and
working in a regulated industry (Biotech or Pharmaceutical Industry
preferred)
Knowledge of strategies, methods and tools used to capture,
manage, store, preserve and deliver content and documents related to organizational processes (Enterprise Content Management)
Experience managing projects for content, collaboration and
document management using MS SharePoint, OpenText (LiveLink) and Documentum
Experience using MS Project Server and Project Professional
Proficient in Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint
Must be able to articulate key project factors & techniques
Has managed multiple projects under a Project Management Office
Hands-on experience with gathering functional requirements,
design, implementation and launch of large-scale projects
Summary:
The Project Manager will actively manage multiple Enterprise Content and Collaboration Management projects in accordance with PMO and SDLC procedures. Perform industry standard PM tasks from the project charter to post-implementation, including the management of budget, schedule, training, testing, debugging, issue resolution, change requests, team moral and delivery. This individual should possess strong written and verbal communication skills and work well in a changing environment. In addition, the candidate will have managed an organizational change initiative.
Skills/Knowledge Required:
Manage the day-to-day activities of large-scale projects.
Prioritize project activities
Actively identify, track, mitigate and minimize risks / issues
within the project; confront issues openly and quickly as well as escalate to the appropriate management level when necessary
Maintain overall project schedule and the delivery of expected
project objectives
Report on project status and major milestones including progress
made against the project schedule
Actively lead, motivate, and challenge cross-functional teams
Facilitate Project Meetings, provide meeting agenda and ensure
meeting minutes, actions and decisions are captured and communicated
Assist with the identification and implementation of process
improvements
Manage third-party partner and/or vendor relationships, as
necessary
Ensure client drivers and priorities are clearly understood and
addressed in order to focus decision-making by the business
Develops relationships with key project stakeholders and ensures
appropriate level of participation throughout project life cycle
Fosters a positive, collaborative working environment
The key here is a Project Manger with experience in Biotech or Pharma, who has managed ECM (Enterprise Content Management) projects such as Sharepoint, Livelink, and Documentum. These are all document management systems so that is the key if they have that. if it's a very strong person without pharma but they have managed those ECm things we will send also. Must have a car. Must have good comm skills
