I have a urgent need for a Teradata Developer. I need candidates who can make up for a F2F. My company will bear 50% of expenses. Below are the details

 

Location NYC

Duration 6 Months+

Rate $DOE/hr

Interview Phone + F2F

 

·         8-10 years experience with Teradata and its toolset

·         Expertise in best practices for Informatica based ETL design and development

·         Senior ETL , Teradata specialist with sound knowledge of Unix as well.

·         Excellent SQL skills required

·         Sound working knowledge of Unix scripting, scheduling, FTP

·         Experience using ERWIN or any other data modeling tool.

·         Design data mapping from source systems to Datawarehouse

·         Document processes and mentor development staff through the software development lifecycle process

·         Work with business analysts and end users to define business rules and interpret data

·         Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Ability to work independently and in a team environment

·         Ability to pay attention to details and be organized

·         Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person

·         Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles

·         Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

·         Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects

·         Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast paced environment

·         Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

 

·         Technical Skills:

o   Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

o   Teradata database

o   Unix

o   Informatica

o   SQL

o   Stored Procedures

o   Knowledge of data warehouse data models

o   Experience with ETL techniques

o   Extensive data analysis and data quality experience
