The Project Manager should be entrepreneurial in nature, have some background in similar technologies and be able to quickly master an understanding of the business.Client is looking for a project leader who can not only handle the "administrivia" (schedule, budget, issue management) of the project, but coach, mentor and drive the team to optimize new technologies and business processes. Technology experience with point of sale, ecommerce portals, business development/marketing, mobile technologies, customer relations management, change management, and proven experience successfully deploying this type of system is preferred.
Client prefers that the Project Manager be PMI certified and employ an approved project management methodology (such as the PMI PMBOK) when performing all required tasks.
Within the context of the above, individuals should possess a minimum of eight (8) years of increasing levels of responsibilities as IT systems project manager including supervisory or management responsibility. The Vendor should be able to demonstrate a breadth and depth of experience in performing:
3.1 Consulting on complex service delivery process improvements.
3.2 Developing work plans, and coordinating and tracking complex projects.
3.3 Project management/facilitation (specific projects)
3.4 Project management training of customer staff and mentoring in project management protocols, approach and use of Microsoft Project
3.5 Coordination of stakeholders
3.6 Project reporting and documentation
3.7 Systems development/modification
3.8 Large-scale authentication/authorization systems for integrated platforms
3.9 Analysis, design and development of security infrastructure
Client prefers that the individual possess substantial corporate knowledge in all of these fields as evidenced by previous contracts or projects, published reports, and their skills and experience.
