BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS

·         5-10 years BI design/development experience / best practices

·         Strong, practical experience with the MS Business Intelligence Suite (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), experience with additional BI tools a plus

·         Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Solutions for BI DW Environments, including SQL Server 2008, DTS, Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Reporting Services, Multidimensional OLAP Reporting tools, SQL Profiler, BIDS 2008, E/R Studio

·         Thorough understanding of and practical experience with ETL (DTS/SSIS)

·         Working knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling techniques

·         Strong SQL development skills

·         Solid knowledge of data warehousing concepts

·         Superior analytic and problem-solving skills

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with a variety of people

·         Present a professional, competent, and confident image in dealing with users as well as the BI team and other Teams within IT

·         Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, react to problems quickly, understand complex issues and manage time efficiently

·         Interpersonal and team participation a must as well as the ability to work independently
