Primary responsibilities: • Act as a Level-1 / Level-2 Backup administrator in an enterprise class backup and recovery environment. • Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of storage/ILM based solutions and deliverables in areas such as, SRM software, framework integration, storage area networks, data classification, business continuance. • Participate in the Backup/Recovery Team on-call rotation. Requirements: • Approximately 3-6+ years of professional experience in IBM TSM backup/recovery environments. . • 3-6 years of experience of architecting and managing IBM TSM backup/recovery environments. • Experience and ability to manage large projects, working in fast past corporate environment. Must have excellent communication skills and NOT require sponsorship. • Experience with IBM TSM version 5.5, 6.X. • Experience with Data Domain and EMC CDL (Virtual Tape Libraries ) • Experience with Oracle/Sun Tape Libraries including SL8500. • Experience with Gresham, ACSLS, and IBM Library Manager Software • Storage capacity and performance management and reporting, network bandwidth for data replication sizing • Practical experience with Disaster Recovery/Business Resumption planning and configuration using IBM TSM. • Unix shell scripting • Perl scripting • Windows scripting • Working knowledge ( System Administrator Level ) of Unix (primarily AIX), Windows, and LINUX. Desired: • Knowledge of AIX and Linux storage allocation procedures • IBM TSM Certifications • Strong communication skills
