Description

· General Middleware administration with more than 3 years overall  experience with WAS/Jboss/ESB/Webserver

· Support the Middleware environment through the entire life cycle, forecasting to acquisitions through decommissioning

· Install/configure Middleware software(WAS/Jboss/ESB/Webserver) 

· Configure Middleware software for HA and DR · Apache web server & IBM HTTP server configurations

· Install/configure/troubleshoot/tune middleware(java) applications

· Basic understanding of Unix shell scripting, Jacl/Jython scripting, automation of routine system administration tasks such as deployments,  and configuration logfile cleanup using scripting.    

· Take part in an On-Call rotation supporting 24x7 critical Production applications. Provide support as required  during normal business hours as well as after hours                                                  

· Apply software updates/patches (WAS/Jboss/Mule ESB/Apache MQ, JAVA) to ensure that the environments are running optimally at supported software levels.

· Excellent problem-solving, diagnostics and trouble shooting ability  

· 3+ years of experience · BA/BS degree (Computer Science degree preferred but not required)
