Contract Duration: 12 months

Location: New York , New York

 

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of experience with web (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) technologies

Knowledge of XML and JSON mandatory

Demonstrated, expert-level knowledge of web standards and best practices

Experience creating web sites from Photoshop mock ups and wireframes

Familiarity with source control and change management concepts

Knowledge of ASP.NET/C# web development and Visual Studio development environment

Experience in designing/developing within Job Board space is a big plus

 

Responsibilities:

Creating and editing standards-compliant CSS and semantic HTML markup

Using JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX technologies to improve the user experience

Creating front end templates using jQuery and JSON result sets

Ensuring cross-browser compatibility on new and existing code

Structuring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code to promote reuse, reduce duplication, and ensure consistency throughout the site

Ability to work with a CSS grid layout

Working with the product managers and developers to implement new features and functionality
