DB2 UDB Consultant
Location Renton, VA
Contract: 12 Months
Rate:- $50-55/hr on C2C
Will hire from phone call
Datacenter Consolidation-DB2 optimization. Migrate, consolidate, and upgrade db2 database servers from Solaris/AIX to Linux virtual hosts. Upgrade database servers to UDB 9.7. Also, will support an upgrade of UDB 9.7 on a large data warehouse.
BTI: P0727-Datacenter Consolidation(DB2 Optimization)
statement: Consultant will perform the following DBA tasks for transactional and data warehouse environments:
UDB upgrades, migrations of UDB databases from Solaris/AIX to Linux, performance tuning, script writing, performing backups/recovery, database monitoring, SQL writing, providing 24 x 7 on call production support
skill: Senior (7+ yrs)
Skills:
UDB 9.x
Experience with UDB database upgrades
UDB EEE Data warehouses experience
Experience supporting UDB on Solaris/AIX/Linux
Strong written & Verbal communication skills
