JobTitle: Sr Project Manager

Location:Trenton, NJ
Duration: 6+ Months

NOTE:  This position requires 20% travel todifferent counties in the State.  Travelexpenses are not reimbursed by the State.

 4 year college degree or equivalent technicalstudy and 7 plus years

Goodoral and verbal communication skills and the ability to present in bothtechnical and non-technical terms.

Knowledgeof Microsoft SQL databases and/or programming in C#, C++, Java.

* Acta liaison between COTS vendor and internal business users.

*Works with project stakeholders to identify project scope of work documents andproject plans that

includean analysis of benefit, cost, work schedule and any related risks.

*Reviews/gathers status reports and input by project team and modifies schedulesor plans as required as well as provides status updates to Deputy Director ofIT on a routine basis.

*Monitors project work to ensure that progress is within expected guidelines andis completed on time. Quickly identify and report on obstacles/impediments tothe project.

*Coordinate efforts of internal IT staff relating to the project including butnot limited to Database Administrator, Network Infrastructure Team and WebDevelopers.

*Oversees User Acceptance Testing execution and remediation of issues.

*Manages changes to project scope, schedule using appropriate validationtechniques to keep the project plan accurate, updated and reflective ofauthorized project changes. Facilitates client acceptance of changes and theirimpact.

*Formalizes final acceptance and closure for the project based on satisfactoryachievement of outcomes from the sponsor/client.
