The group provides 7x24 production support. This position requires the ability to apply knowledge and experience in providing successful problem resolution. The candidate will be required to be able to successfully work with various support teams including System Administrators, Database Administrators, Network Administrators. The position requires the ability to work independently when required. This position is customer facing and requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Some night and weekend work will be required. Required skills: · Previous production support in 7x24 operations · Experienced with IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) · Experience with IBM middleware technology like Websphere Process Server(WPS) and Websphere Enterprise Service Bus(ESB) · Experience with Linux, AIX, UNIX, and Windows operating systems environments · Experience with Python, Perl, Java, SQL, Oracle, · NAS and NFS · F5 / LTM, Web services, XML · Strong analytical skills · Knowledge of ITIL disciplines (ex. Incident Management) · Ability to remain calm under pressure or through demanding challenges & customers · Good team player General Job Duties and Responsibilities: · Troubleshoot application and infrastructure problems and events · Maintain and enhance (via documentation) knowledge base system · Communicate to team members and customers regarding status of tickets · Will work with other technical teams as well as third party suppliers in problem resolution Relevant Years of Experience: 5+ Years Must Have Technical Qualifications: Bachelors Nice to Have Qualifications: Understanding of WPS/WESB |
