Job Description

Here is the JD for SAP BW Functional Analyst :
.    Well versed in SAP Business Intelligence, SAP BEx Queries and SAP providing strategic/tactical support WWops Release.
.    BW experience with rich functional experience and integration / migration of legacy metrics into SAP BW, which include extensive working on each element of BO Universes.
.    Commitment to validate the data model, discuss standard Reports and facilitate business discussions from requirements through design.
.    Implementation Experience to support training, testing of the super users during SIT and UAT cycles
.    Collaborate with business and the implementation partner to rationalize custom reports and represent BI team in the business facing meetings.
Job Level Specific Duties

. Codes, tests, and debugs new software / applications or makes enhancements to existing software / applications.
. Offers limited application recommendations for defined business needs.
. Contributes to root cause analysis based on system and incident knowledge.
. Works on assignments in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions.

Typical Years of Experience

. Typically requires 2-4 years relevant experience.

Minimum Education and Certifications

. Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Skills

. Demonstrated understanding of programming languages.
. Knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging simple applications.
. Demonstrated knowledge of application configuration, maintenance and support.
. Knowledge of client / server networks.
. Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions

. Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
. Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
. Significant travel including overnight domestic or international trips may be required.
