Description:
Senior software engineer for the ECARS 2.0 team.
ECARS™ 2.0 – connects the reservations, billing and reporting operations of more than 8,000 CLIENT offices around the world.
Some of the exciting work being done within ECARS includes global expansion focusing heavily on Europe.
This expansion will involve translations, locale change and being bilingual with French or Spanish would be a huge plus but is not required.
Also in the works is creating compatibility between ECARS 2.0 and mobile devices.
ECARS 2.0 was built on EJB (Enterprise JAVA Beans) and so experience with EJB is a plus as well.
Other technologies used on this team include XML for messaging framework, webservices, struts and core java.
This position can sit either location and the manager is prepared to make a decision based on one face-to-face interview and on-site assessment.
For out of town candidates a phone interview can be completed prior to the face-to-face.
