ContractDuration: 16 months 

Ideally just green cards and US Citizens they will do H1Bs as well this is SUPER hot. This is an urgent backfill for our client  and they are looking to interview/hire before the end of this week. The big things: 1)     Strong Business Analyst background/experience—NOT A PROJECT MANAGER ROLE  2) A LOT of clearing/brokerage experience 3) Back-end system processing experience; see notes below. If the resume has ALL of these, an interview is basically guaranteed. Good communication is an absolute must. No less than a 9/10 on English communication skills. Req: Need to be a strong BA supporting internal clients writing Functional requirements for back end portal processing system. Will interface with IT and Business unites. Must be familiar with Clearing/Brokerage back end processing. Position will entail managing and working on several mid-sized projects.Individual would be move along several inter-related projects around an expansion by the firm into the clearing space. The individual would step into an ongoing set of projects and perform a range of duties to move them along ranging from business analysis and specification generation to project management. The projects underway include the roll out of a portal for the customer, implementation of the XSP software for corporate actions, modifications to an existing internal risk management software to handle done-away trades, and creating a cost-basis engine needed for the roll out of custody and margin. These projects are either underway or expect to be initiated in the near future and would unfold over the next three to six months. Typical Background:Has 10-15 years or more in a business analysis or project management position from the internal consulting or IT department of a bank or brokerage or a consulting firm covering the financial industry. Individual would have been a VP at a typical bank or manager or senior consultant at a consulting company. There needs to be experience in the clearing, custody, collateral management or margin space, though it is understood that it is unlikely someone would have experience in all these spaces. Broad brokerage or clearing industry knowledge or exposure is important.
