HP Exstream Developer 6+months Roseland, NJ • Ability to understand the customer’s business problem, need, or opportunity and to develop and implement a solution that appropriately addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity. • Ability to lead the development, deployment, and technical quality of small, medium, and large business unit level Information Technology (IT) based solutions (typically within multiple technology or specialty areas). • Participation in business discussions with clients for requirement elicitation. • Manage support activities for HP Exstream, Support HP-Exstream Development and Production Environments • Identifies the growth path and scalability options of a solution and includes these in design activities • Persuasively communicates the value of the solution in terms of financial return and impact on customer business goals • Appropriately tailors communications to varying levels of customer management • Generates an implementation plan with timelines for the solution • Creates the appropriate test plan as required • Anticipates some of the potential challenges for the proposed project plan • Anticipates and plans for competitive threats • Conduct HP Exstream testing activities Test Planning, Unit Testing, Integration Testing & Support for UAT • Release Management • Support trouble shooting for functional and product related issues • Review Product evaluation, feature comparison and gap analysis activities • Review Design & Technical documents for software development team and Business Relationship group • Maintains excellent communications with customer executive management across the enterprise / business unit • Conduct interviews and perform analysis in order to create business cases for projects. 6 to 8 years of software experience with extensive hands on experience on HP Exstream applications • 2 years experience in developing & implementing models on HP Exstream applications in Insurance space • 2 years experience in HP-Exstream Applications using Exstream-Dialogue Designer for Clients Letter Notifications (Knowledge of version 6.x, 7.x and 8.x preferred) • Ability to collaborate effectively to manage medium to large projects as necessary. • Strong knowledge of various documents and communications relevant to Insurance domains • Understanding of Web Server (IS) MQs and Web Application Server (WebSphere, Apache etc.) • Strong Analytical abilities, Communication skills, Client interfacing skills |
