A  SENIOR JAVA Developer with Good EJB andSTRONG Application Design skills is needed to design and develop browser basedJ2EE Applications, such as the Judiciary's Final Restraining Order (FRO)application and convert the Electronic Restraining Order (eTRO) browser basedapplication from Domino to JAVA. COMMUNICATION skills WILL BE OF IMPORTANCE since the contractor will beinteracting with various business users. The Developer should have leadershipqualities since there is a chance this contractor will be groomed for a leadposition down the road.

Contractstaff will work at the direction of ITO staff and will be required tocontribute in all phases of project development.  This includes working with users, documentingsystem requirements, prototypes, design, develop and implement the Webapplication within the ITO RUP protocols and procedures.   Detailed work may include documentingbusiness models, use case models, activity diagrams, generating codingspecifications, perform coding tasks, unit test all modules and implementationof the system.

Selectedstaff will deliver completed system documentation and diagrams per the ITORational Software protocols and complete program components (Java,  EJB, Servlets, etc…) as assigned.   All components must be clearlydocumented.  They must also create andmaintain technical architectural diagrams, test plans and lead staff. Providestatus reports to the project manager or lead. Complete system requirementsdocumentation and estimates for projects and or tasks.
