Description

 

In Person Interview required Local Candidates only.
 
Develop in leading-edge technologies: including cloud computing and Grails/Groovy.
Believe strongly in agile development, and have several existing products.
Software stack is all open-source - Apache, MySQL, Grails, Java and Groovy, Spring, and Hibernate. Deployment environment is Amazon S3 and EC2 with Linux virtual servers.
 
 
Some notes:
* Looking for someone who can work onsite (co-sharing workspace & it can be downtown near San Francisco  -- a minimum of two days a week onsite - the rest can be from home if needed.
* The hiring process will include: an initial 30 minute phone screen and in-person face to face so locals are a must to CALIFORNIA.  Will also request a code sample and 2-3 references.
*  Java & Groovy as languages.  Not expecting someone to already know Groovy, but need a very good Java programmer who is excited to learn Groovy too.
