POSITION SUMMARY
• Develop and maintain mortgage software using Microsoft's Visual Studio .Net environment and other software development tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (% OF TIME)
• Create and maintain mortgage-based financial software products. (50%)
• Unit test new features and product enhancements. (20%)
• Work with Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure software is properly tested and meets requirements. (20%)
• Prepare technical documentation as required. (5%)
• Provide operational support when required for operational questions and deployments. (5%)
DECISION MAKING
• The individual filling this role will be working with business analysts, a group of developers, and a development lead while enhancing our suite of mortgage products. Technical and functional guidance are given and reviewed throughout the project.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent discipline. Comparable work experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
• 4+ years software development experience required
• 2 years web development experience required
• .Net knowledge/experience required. ASP.Net required with C#
• Experience writing SQL stored procedures required
• Mortgage / financial industry knowledge
JOB SKILLS / TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIRED
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
