Need Sr. Data Analyst/Data Conversion Specialist @ MN

We have an urgent requirement of Sr. Data Analyst/Data Conversion Specialist with one of our direct client in MN.

Project Title: Data Conversion Expert - Legacy case migration to New Case Migration

Duration: 500 Hrs

Start Date: Dec 5th, 2012

 

 

This SOW is for the data analysis, reverse engineering from the new system (Forensic Advantage) the business rules, editing, and data mapping, data cleansing, coding, testing, and successful load of the legacy data to the new system.   

 

Description of Work to Be Performed and the Specific Skill Sets Needed:  

·         SQL, ETL, Informatica, Power Designer  tools

·         Utilize Power Designer to map the FA data for delivery of a data dictionary of the core data for the new system.  

·         Data mapping, cleansing, transformation, coding, testing/validation, loading to test, then production.   

·         Work collaboratively with the Database Administrator, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Case Management System Vendor, and line of business Subject Matter Experts

·         Utilize previous analysis to define source to target database needs; continue that analysis as necessary to complete it

·         Provide estimates of effort for data cleansing, source to target mapping, ETL data migration, and validation activities

·         Profile the legacy data to understand and document needed data cleansing

·         Identify requirements and criteria for data cleansing, and work with Database Administrator to cleanse data

·         Perform Source to Target mapping between legacy and new system databases

·         Document intended ETL architecture to achieve business goal

·         Analyze, document, confirm, code, test, implement :

·         Data cleansing

·         Transformation business logic and rules

·         Create, and execute ETL workflows and exception handling

·         Document validation plans/activities

·         Comply with Hennepin County Internal Audit requirements for data conversion record keeping.
