IPCS Req: SAS-ETL Developer @ NC

Contractor Required: SAS-ETL Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 6+ months

Start date: 1^st July 2012

 

 

DUTIES

This position will work with the Business analyst to develop Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) SAS programs to extract data from our operational data sources and load into designated reporting data marts for Business Intelligence(BI) reporting.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 

• Bachelor's in computer science

• Minimum of (4) Four years of ETL and Data architecture experience working with large data sets

• Minimum of (3) Three years of SAS programming experience utilizing Base SAS

• General knowledge of SAS statistical functions

• In-depth understanding of dimensional modeling concepts

• In-depth understanding of the data warehousing life cycle

• Extensive SAS programming knowledge

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Healthcare insurance industry knowledge

• Strong understanding of healthcare claims processing
