Senior Software Engineer
Location: Santa Clara
Duration: 12 Months
Position Objectives:
• Develop IaaS automation to scale in provisioning volume, performance and global deployment.
• Develop highly scalable Cloud Middleware and Automation platform that interfaces with different subsystems.
• Work with various internal and external teams on defining a set of standard APIs for each application subsystem.
• Translate functional requirements into technical and API specifications.
• Work with cross functional teams and lead design discussions on future functions.
• Mentor and motivate team members to ensure high productivity, collaboration and team work.
Required skills:
• 5+ years of Software design and development experience for complex enterprise systems.
• 2+ years of experience implementing products for private or public cloud for enterprise.
• Hands on experience with vmware virtualization technologies such as vCloud director, vCenter and vCloud API.
• Experience in Java/J2EE, Web Services (SOAP/REST) and Spring framework.
• Experience in data modeling, SQL development and performance tuning using MySQL.
• Must be a team player, flexible, self-motivated and analytical with excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
