Sr. PeopleSoft EPM/ETL Consultant

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Duration: six-month

Client:  Florida State

Rate: Open

 

We are looking for a strong PeopleSoft EPM consultant to join the Campus Solutions Warehouse implementation team. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of in-depth development experience with PeopleSoftEPM, IBM DataStage (8.X) and data warehousing. There is a strong preference for candidates with previous PeopleSoftEPM implementation experience in higher education. Expert knowledge of PeopleSoftEPM data structures, configuration, setup, and business processes within the PeopleSoft EPM Campus Solutions Warehouse module. Candidate should also have a strong understanding of PeopleSoft EPM Campus Solutions Warehouse tables/record definitions and the ability to write and understand advanced SQL.

 

The consultant will be expected to:

· Understand and evaluate source system modifications and architect necessary Campus Solutions Warehouse enhancements.

· Develop design specifications for Campus Solutions Warehouse enhancements.

· Create new or modify existing ETL jobs in IBM Information Server DataStage per design specifications and in adherence with development standards.

· Participate in data warehouse unit, integration, performance, end user testing, and issue resolution activities.

· Perform performance tuning of warehouse processes and peer review of team members development.

· Collaborate with other teams to define data warehouse structures and ensure optimal performance of the business intelligence environment.

· Working directly with developers to ensure that functional and technical specifications for customizations meet business requirements
