REQUIRMENT  :

 

Position : SAP ABAP Developer

Location : Houston, TX.

Contract duration : 6 months

 

 

Must be strong in ABAP AND WebDynpro and MM

 

Will hire from a phone interview

End Client is HP

 

Need to have solid experience with ABAP.MM.IDOCS/ALE at  the min.  Ideal candidate will have some Web Dynpro or XI/PI

Please keep in mind the following: Numbered in order of importance  below 

***Manager will hire a Strong MM candidate if the y  have Web DynPro and IDOCS and no XI or PI

***Manager will also hire a Strong MM candidate if they have the IDOCS and only XI or PI

Candidates must have one or the other  of the above skills .

Candidates will need to take a ABAP Developer  test-

 

1.       MM

2.       SAP ABAP 

3.      IDOCS/ALE  

4.      SAP Software Design Lifecycle

 

At least one of the below 

1.      WEBDYNPRO

2.      XI/PI Development

3-5 years of SAP Development in MM experience and  PLM experience.

The work entailed by this project is to cover a projects involving our SAP platform and custom

solutions build to support Product Life Cycle Management. The work will require ABAP

Development expertise and knowledge of the Material Master, Bill of Material, Engineering

Change Management, Classification, Data Distribution, Master data Management ( MDM ),

Workflow and Procurement / Costing areas of SAP from both a technical and process point

of view along with .NET and asp programming skills for web related activities.

Specifically, the following tasks will be required;

 

1. Participation in meetings with other IT organizations and Business groups to

understand requirements for the projects

2. Close collaboration with the onshore PLM SAP and Web Application Development

teams to design solutions that will integrate smoothly into our current systems

environment and that will also meet our future architecture needs.

3. Development of applicable documentation

4. Development of application design documents for the solutions to fulfill business

requirements.

5. Development of construction documents for SAP, Web and Tidal development

6. Working with the development team to resolve any questions related to the design

7. Development of both unit and integration test cases to support the solutions developed

8. Participation in design reviews

9. Testing of solutions and resolution of issues that arise during any of testing phases

10. Participation in move to test and move to production activities

11. Participation in post go live, warranty activities as it relates to assigned projects
