SCOPE OF SERVICES 

Job Description:  CBIDAS Consultant Services

The consultants shall provide extensive database programming work and production database support for city-wide roll out of the Risk Based Inspection System (RBIS). The ITCS consultants will be responsible for full project life cycle of database development work which entails the design, development, and testing of database structure/programming. Such database development efforts span multiple schemas of the database which include OLTP as well as Data Warehouse.  The Oracle developer will also participate in the unit testing/SIT of each production release and provide technical documentations of his/her development work. This consultant will be part of an IT team which consists of database administrators, UI programmers, Business Intelligence Report developers, system administrator, and business analyst.

 

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

•           This candidate should have in-depth understanding of Oracle 11g and have solid hands-in experience with the development of Oracle packages and procedures.

•           Minimum 5 years of Oracle development experience is required.

•           Proficient in using TOAD.

•           Able to translate functional requirements into database structure and database programming.

•           Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Prior exposure to ADF, OBIEE, ODI, Unix, version control tool (CVS).
