Position: Mobile Developer
Pay Rate: $60/hr on C2C
Location: Wilmington, DE.
Duration: Long Term
Key Accountabilities
· Develop and update new & existing mobile solutions as a part of the Mobile Solutions Delivery Team.
· Work with User Experience team members to create new and innovative ways to improve customer experience.
· Development tasks include: coding, testing, debugging, documenting, peer-reviewing, deploying, monitoring, and support.
· All tasks are performed in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards.
· Work with internal departments to provide associated artifacts required for the successful completion of development and maintenance assignments.
· Contribute to task identification, and work effort estimates for development and maintenance activities
Professional Qualification and Technical Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Mobile systems
-5 years of full life-cycle and iterative development, with a good understanding of test-driven development
-Experience with iOS SDK and Objective-C.
-Experience with Android or Google Web Kit front-end a plus
-Previous experience in working with internet/intranet banking applications preferred
-Experience with, and strong understanding of, software versioning concepts using Subversion.
-Able to manipulate images in Photoshop and cut readymade images.
-Experience developing and using Web Services using contract-first techniques
-Experience developing in an agile development environment
-Strong understanding and experience in Object-Oriented solution design using UML
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related major
-Knowledge of HTML5 is desired, but not required.
-Candidate must show an aptitude for detail.
-Display leadership skills such as taking proper responsibility, pursuing solutions to problems, displaying resourcefulness towards accomplishing given tasks or goals.
-Show an ability to focus on mundane functions of their job, as well as being self-motivated to learn new skills in order to accomplish new tasks.
-Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
-Excellent organizational and planning skills
-Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
-Excellent verbal communication skills
-Demonstrated high sense of urgency
