Looking for someone that has had a recent, heavy emphasis on reporting, development w/in the Microsoft BI Stack. SSRS
6+ years SQL development with emphasis on stored procedures, performance tuning and troubleshooting
Looking for candidate w/ operational reporting experience, not just experience reporting against a data warehouse.
4+ years of experience developing reports using tools such as SSRS
Data Warehouse or Business Intelligences experience
Ability to review data and provide sound analysis to clients/customers
Excellent communications skills
This person should not be someone that has done primarily SQL development and written a report or 2. This person should have report writing as their primary, current requirement.
Technical Requirements:
SSRS (min 4 years) is the main requirement
SSAS and SSIS are secondary, but also required
SQL (querying and writing stored procedures)
MDX
Sharepoint
Performance Point Server (PPS)
Some modeling background, don't have to necessarily perform as a modeler but understand modeling concepts as they apply to Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence.
Exposure to Toad Data Modeling Tool (or other data modeling tool, although we are using Toad currently)
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain reports in production
Enough technical knowledge to work with existing reports and make recommendations
