Multiple Software tester positions @ MN

Hello,

 

We have multiple urgent requirements of Sr. Software Testers with one of our direct client in MN.

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 1 year

 

Software Tester with 5+ years of experience

 

Experience and Responsibilities:

 

*Experience in testing through a full system development life cycle including designing, developing and implementing test plans, test cases, automated tests, and test processes

*Experience testing systems from existing system and functional specifications

*Experience developing test cases and plans from requirements documentation

*Experience building, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining development and test systems.

*Experience with test management tools similar to HP Quality Center

*Effective verbal and written communication with coworkers, customers, project managers, and foreign colleagues *Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.

*Ability to work with a multi-national team

*Work with interns to run automated tests.

 

Desired competencies:

 

Operating Systems: Redhat Linux, Solaris, Windows, AIX

 

Tools: ClearCase, ClearQuest, Microsoft Office, Oracle databases, Borland Silk Test, shell scripting

 

Concepts: Virtualization on Redhat and Windows platforms
