END DATE	Jan. 31st, 2013
Engagement Description: Client is seeking an experienced business analyst to participate in three related efforts to support our Watershed Data Integration Program: 1) Work with  staff and staff from six (6) other departments to inventory water data management systems and develop vision statement for a system linking those data systems. 2) Work with  stakeholders and web development team to implement on-line system to make Clean Water Performance Measures available to the public. 3) Work with  stakeholders to design and develop water quality assessment data system. This will replace several existing  data systems and support new assessment processes. All of these work efforts are guided by a Steering Team and a Program Manager
Required Skill B.S. or B.A. Degree Certified Business Analyst (CBAP) or degree program with focus on Business Analyst Five or more years of experience in a Business Analyst – Senior role Strategic Planning Strategic Goal Setting Enterprise Analysis Requirements Elicitation Requirement Analysis and Documentation Requirements Communications Solution Assessment and Validation Agile/Scrum Web Development     Requirement No 2. LOCATION Minneapolis, MN DURATION 3 Months Possible extension START DATE Jan.23rd, 2012 END DATE April 15th, 2012 Engagement Description: Serve as data analyst and database designer on a handful of small- to medium-sized system development projects. This analyst will be responsible for developing and documenting business object models, conceptual and logical data models, and physical database designs. There is some chance that a successful analyst will be offered a follow on engagement on other projects. Required Skill B.S. or B.A. Degree Certified Business Analyst (CBAP) or degree program with focus on Business Analyst Five or more years of experience in a Business Analyst – Senior role Min 4 years of experience in Data Design Strategic Planning Strategic Goal Setting Enterprise Analysis Requirements Elicitation Requirement Analysis and Documentation Requirements Communications Solution Assessment and Validation Agile/Scrum Web Development     Requirement No 3. LOCATION Minneapolis, MN DURATION 3 Months Possible extension START DATE Jan.23rd, 2012 END DATE April 15th, 2012 Engagement Description: Serve as principal process-oriented analyst on a team designing processes and a new information system with which the Agency will accept and evaluate applications for permits to take water from, build structures in, or control aquatic invasive species in public waters. This analyst will be responsible for developing and documenting process models and for identifying, defining, and documenting system use cases. The analyst will likely be asked to mock up designs for screens and reports, too. The project team consists of a project manager, a part-time data analyst, and subject matter experts. There is a good chance that a successful analyst will be offered a follow on engagement on another project.
