Senior Software Development Manager - Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Manager to support the development and delivery of Core SAP solutions.
Overall responsibility for the building of Core SAP solutions within our organization
· Responsible for the Strategic Direction of the SAP solutions within the functional development area
· Drives the integration of the Core SAP Platform
· Works with the systems integrators and off shore providers to form an integrated strategy to deliver cost effective development solutions
· Ensures the package solutions meet the business requirements with minimum customization
Knowledge and Skills:
· Budgets - strong knowledge and experience of financials.
· Strong knowledge of business strategy planning and prioritization.
· Proven experience in governance, project mgmt, and assurance.
· Excellent people management and interpersonal skills
· Ability to coach and mentor individuals where appropriate.
· Strong understanding of business process areas, ensuring credibility with business
· Exposure to benefit management and investment appraisal techniques
· Strong change management experience understanding supply and demand and prioritization.
· Experience of engaging stakeholders and customers at a senior level
· Sound knowledge and understanding of the operations and functions of an effective and large IS organization
· Extensive experience in a senior development role
· Exposure to multiple business segments
