Requirement Title VLINK_1574   -  SAS Technical lead .  Description SAS Technical Lead - Overview We are looking for a SAS Support Technical Lead, you will be the SAS technical expert with responsibility for the workload management and mentoring of a small team of developers. Design and deliver the technical solution for both small and strategic project change within the SAS estate (including SAS / ETL jobs and reporting as raised by the business) ·         Provide realistic cost and resource estimates; Create and maintain technical design documentation ·         Manage day to day workload and delivery of a team of developers ·         Take responsibility for project deliverables using Agile delivery mechanisms, including participating in project control forums - scrums, progress meetings, RAID analysis etc ·         Performance tuning of central SAS resources to support reporting and ad-hoc analysis ·         Guide and advise SAS users to identify and improve the efficiency of current SAS reporting practices ·         Recommend SAS usage in line with product enhancements as a strategic tool for future Centrica projects. Provide expertise, promote best practices and assist in the evaluation of emerging products ·         Contribute to knowledge sharing, ideas and information relating to SAS technologies and (along with other technical leads) be the key technical expert within the team.
