1. Position: SAP Netweaver developer
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 6 Month+
2. Background Information:
FCIMT provides application support for the SAP system and its many modules, including FI (Financials), MM, FM, CO and Trust Funds and support for MIGA’s GDB system. We will need the SAP Netweaver Developer to provide maintenance support for MIGA’s GDB system.
3. General Accountability:
As part of the IMTCT FI team, the incumbent is accountable for the following:
1. Maintenance support of the Netweaver based modules of GDB.
2. Documentation as per FCIMT quality guidelines
3. Quality assurance and testing support for enhancements and bug fixes in GDB
4. Assist with troubleshooting of production issues .
4. Skill Set requirements:
Senior Java – SAP Dynpro Programmer - TOR
General Requirements:
§ SAP Java and ABAP Webdynpro, strong JSP and ABAP skills
§ ABAP Dynpro (highly desirable)
§ SAP Netweaver 7.0
§ Extensive experience in building user interfaces and/or GUI design
§ SAP Enterprise Portal (EP) integration
§ Strong database design and data modeling
§ Skilled developer, with good knowledge of ABAP and the SAP FI module.
§ Solid knowledge of SAP development methodologies and practices.
§ Effective teamwork and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in a multi-cultural environment.
§ Ability to debug errors quickly and recommend sound solutions.
§ Ability to do disciplined and detailed work.
Specific Requirements:
§ We are looking for a candidate who has 3 to 5 years experience in coding, testing and deploying complex Java Webdynpro applications .
§ We are looking for a person who has worked with multi-user operating systems, specifically SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Enterprise Portal.
§ The complexity of the applications’ GUI will range from simple maintenance screens to complex drill-downs, menus and exports to EXCEL spreadsheets and PDF documents. Therefore, solid experience in coding to achieve this level of complexity is desired.
§ We expect this person to be able to take a high level objective and deliver results with minimal supervision and under the directives of the system architect and project manager. We expect this person to work around the challenges and setbacks that come with every project, and deliver the results on time. Therefore we are looking for a candidate who has a high level of confidence, maturity, commitment, and who has demonstrated the drive to achieve and succeed, in previous jobs.
§ We expect this person to keep up with changing technology and one who can demonstrate the resourcefulness to learn whatever is needed to get the job done. We are looking for a candidate who has a high level of intelligence, creativity, and adaptability.
§ English is the standard language used at the World Bank headquarters. All users, functional, technical and system documentation is written in English. Therefore, we expect that this person can write and speak English effectively.
