Location : Chicago, IL

Duration : 6 months+

Rate : $45/hr

End Client : US CELLULAR

 

NEED SOME ONE WITH TELECOM DOMAIN EXPERIENCE

 

Need strong Manual testing experience

Need Strong Informatica experience

 

College degree with 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience

•       Knowledge of HP Quality Center

•       Be able to design, develop and implement test plans, test cases, test scripts/ SQLs using requirements/ reference materials

•       Strong working knowledge of Oracle (free hand SQL with Complex joins), SQL design and ETL testing in the Data warehouse and Data mart environment

•       Experience in creating test harness, scripts & data validation scripts using SQL Scripting

•       Knowledge of ETL testing process including Type1 and Type2 changes

•       Have UNIX and scripting knowledge

•       Have experience with vendor interface testing

•       Knowledge of relational, star schema, dimensional data models

•       Understanding of data rollups/aggregation, data standardization and slowly changing dimensions

•       Knowledge of QA process and testing methods and techniques in a DW / BI environment is needed

•       Work with technology leads to identify the appropriate data for testing

•       Assist developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving problems

•       Facilitate resolution and communication of issues and decisions

•       Assess and revise test sequence and scope based upon dependencies and / or changes in design

•       Communicate status, issues, risks, test results and defects to Test Lead and the team with appropriate level of detail on time

•       Reconcile test results from different tests and different groups

•       Establish working relationships with vendors and development project team members.

•       Manage individual workload and deliver to agreed upon timelines

•       Perform knowledge transfer as needed

•       Demonstrate ability to work in team environment and help resolve issues

•       Be flexible and a result oriented individual who can be a self-motivator.

•       Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze design, code, and data problems

•       Ability to effectively and professionally communicate, both orally and in writing, while also articulating and translating technical language to non-technical customers

If they have experience in this type of B/OSS transformation project and/or experience with Amdocs, that would be a plus. The specific open tester positions are as follows:

1.      Finance and A/R integration tester

2.      Customer Management integration tester

3.      Operations Tester (testing ODS and batch ETLs)
