Need Senior Oracle Developer @ NC

 

Position: Sr. Oracle Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC

 

Duration: 6+ Months

 

 

DUTIES

·         Oracle PL/SQL Programmer to work on the implementation of a new Budget and Performance Management system.

·         This position will work with the technical implementation team, working primarily on data modeling, database development, ETL processes, and data loading in Oracle.

·         The primary tasks will be migrating data from legacy systems into a new data model and providing database assistance for forms and reports development.

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

·         Expert-level PL/SQL programming

·         Proven accomplishments using data loading with tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, or other mainstream Oracle tool

·         Experience with Oracle SQL Loader

·         Experience as an "applications DBA," including creating and managing schemas, tables, constraints, indexes, and materialized views; and managing database access for developers and end users Experience with UNIX (Solaris)

·         Understanding of relational data modeling

·         Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries

·         Bachelor's degree with (3) three years of professional experience in Oracle database development; or equivalent combination of training and experience

 

Special Note to Vendors:

·         All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

·         It is not necessary to submit pure DBA candidates

·         Do Not submit candidates with limited or no PL/SQL programming experience

·         Candidates level of PL/SQL programming will be tested with a written exam

·         All listed skills will be covered in a written technical exam
