I have an urgent need for Java Developer. There are 3 spots and client will hire after 6 Months of contract.
After the 6 month contract phase, our client will take over their visa's and sponsorship. US Citizens will also be considered, but H1-B's are good too.

IF you are working with a third party, please make sure they are fine with the 6-month contract to hire, i.e they will have to release the visa after 6 months. There will NOT be a buyout.
A couple of selling points - employees have freedom and flexibility to work from home as needed - as long as it's not abused. Candidates cannot work from home everyday or remotely. They are opening an office in New Delhi, India, so candidates will have the opportunity to move to India and work in a year or two. Also, if your candidates are from India, they would have the option to work remotely when visiting family rather than having to take all vacation time or an extended leave.
Job Description:
Design/develop/enhance/debug/support financial applications/products for credit union industry using Java/J2EE & XML based technologies in a distributed and service oriented architecture.
Job Duties:
Ideal candidate will participate in all aspects of software development process (Gather Requirements, Design, Develop/Code, Unit Test, QA & Deployment). In this SDLC, candidate is expected to design, develop and troubleshoot web-based interfaces and underlying business components while meeting release deadlines. Candidate is expected to work in a collaborative team of software professionals and have necessary technical skills to contribute across multiple projects/releases. Ability to solve problems in a highly energetic and agile/scrum environment is a must. Ideal candidate will also possess ability to employ industry standard best practices for integrating with 3rd party products/vendors.
· Application Development (Java/J2EE/EJB) (Must Have)
· Application Server (OC4J/JBoss/Web Logic/Web Sphere) (Must Have)
· Web Development (JSP/Servlets/Struts/JavaScript) (Must Have)
· Experience with ORM technologies (Oracle TopLink or Hibernate)
· Experience working in Windows & UNIX/LINUX based systems
· Comprehensive SDLC experience (requirements, architecture, design, testing and deployment)
· Experience working in Agile/SCRUM team with unit-testing & continuous-integration
· Web Service Development (XML/SOAP/REST)
· Experience in service based architecture
· Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD)
· Classical & Enterprise design patterns
· Ability to understand and compose UML diagrams
· Experience with Oracle/MySQL database (SQL & some PL/SQL)
· Java/J2EE certification (Highly Desirable)
· Degree in computer science, software engineering or related discipline
· Excellent communication skills
· Financial industry experience is a plus
