Need BI Developer @ SC

 

Hi,

 

We have an urgent requirement with our direct client for a BI Developer

 

 

 

Position: BI Developer

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Duration: 12 months with extension possible

Interviews: By Phone

 

 

Required Skills and Experience:

 

-More than 7 years of software development experience with an emphasis on gathering and documenting user requirements and developing business solutions;

-Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills, required;

-More than 5 years of Microsoft SQL Server development experience, including stored procedure;

-At least 2 years developing with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS);

-Good sense of layout and graphic presentation of data;

-Strong analytical/problem solving skills required;

-Experience implementing dashboards and working with SharePoint is a plus;

-Systematic and disciplined approach to developing solutions required

-VB.NET

 

 

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

 

• Expertise utilizing Microsoft ETL/data integration tools (SSIS and T-SQL scripts) a must.

• Knowledgeable/experienced with SharePoint 2010 & SharePoint Designer

• Experience in BI data model and dimensional model best practices.

• Knowledgeable/ experienced with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS. SSAS, SSIS).

• Extensive knowledgeable/ experienced in all aspects of Business Objects desired.

• Extensive knowledgeable/ experienced in all aspects of Microsoft BI Stack a must.

• Skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Traditional or Agile (Scrum) SDLC knowledge.

• Experience with one or more BI dashboard tools.

• Experience in deploying BI over the Internet
