Description

The SFDC Sr. Application Engineer will be an experienced software engineer with significant knowledge of SalesForce.com. The candidate should have experience customizing, developing and supporting solutions on the SalesForce.com platform including the Sales Cloud, the Service Cloud, and the force.com platform.

The candidate must have the ability to communicate with a diverse set of business users. Knowledge and/or experience using software design patterns and best practices to implement enterprise solutions a major plus. The individual must be capable of understanding complex data objects and data models. The candidate must have a diverse technology background with significant development and software integration experience. The candidate must have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and be customer service oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Customize Salesforce.com including fields, page layouts, record types, reports and dashboards
• Develop and maintain custom code using Visualforce/Apex/API to meet user requirements
• Design and build custom solutions on Force.com platform 
• Facilitate requirements gathering and prioritization with business users
• Provide on-going support and system administration

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

·       2-4 years of experience in Salesforce.com development including creating custom objects, workflows, as well as developing custom solutions using VisualForce and Apex.

·        Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills 

·        Blend of business and technology skills

·        Understanding of Agile Development Methodology a plus. 

·        Experience with service oriented architecture and application development a plus. 

·        Proficiency in Unit testing using and creating test cases utilizing a standard testing framework.
