Need Sr. Business Analyst @ NC- Min 8 years exp required

We have an urgent requirement of Senior Business Analyst with one of our direct client in NC.

 

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 12 Months

Start Date: Sep. 4th.

 

Note: Preference will be given to candidates with samples of work

 

 

Business Analyst duties include: • In-depth research to uncover all business rules and statutes to develop complete accurate requirements • Ability to identify omissions and errors in requirements • Ability to exercise creative and critical thinking in evaluating complex situations and developing solutions while taking into account the limitations and capabilities of the system • Coordinate, participate and lead use case development and requirements gathering • Coordinate and participate in design discussions/reviews to ensure design meets requirements and business needs • Coordinate, participate and develop test case scenarios • Participate in training development • Liaison between business and development team

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

The candidate is required to have experience in the following: • Leading and conducting requirement solicitation and analysis sessions involving 10+ people involving knowledge workers and IT specialists • Multiple forms of requirement gathering including document analysis, analysis of legal statutes and administrative code, group discussion sessions, one-on-one interviews, and observation of activity • Development of testing scenarios, the creation of testing scripts, and assisting end-users in the execution of testing scripts Other Requirements Include: • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel • Must be creative in determining best practice to conduct in-depth research to ensure all business rules and statutes are identified and captured in the requirements • Must possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills • Ability to acclimate quickly to unfamiliar environment/system • Capable of adjusting to and working effectively with diverse personalities • Must be capable of maintaining a positive, friendly attitude in stressful environment and when dealing with others • Must be a motivated, self-directed individual capable of producing assignments will little direct supervision and minimal guidance Preferred: • Experience in business analysis for financial systems (specifically involving employee benefits) • Experience with defined benefit systems is highly preferred
