Oracle/BEA J2EE Application Security Lead/Architect:

Location: Topeka, KS

Duration: Long Term

--Oracle/BEA J2EE Application/Security Architect with demonstrated skills in design, development, and implementation of mid to large composite systems using web services in a multi-tiered environment.
Must have 8-10 years of experience with design, development, and implementation of Security Architecture with Sun based Technical architecture background.
--Experience in defining a powerful security infrastructure for Sun based (J2EE) enterprise applications & information that will assist developers and enterprises in securing their applications.
--Experience in identifying vulnerabilities associated with Sun based applications as well as system, network software and relational database (Oracle).
--Experience in performing assessment of web applications, security software products and database.
--Experience in preparing detailed reports by documenting vulnerabilities and application security related issues through architectural & code review and providing specific mitigation recommendations.? Serve as the subject matter expert on a number of security technologies.
--Broad and deep knowledge of security technologies for networks, servers, desktops, and databases.? Broad knowledge of IT security vendors and products.? Experience with developing security strategies and enterprise security architectures.
--Experience with data and databases security.
--Provide risk assessment and security consultation to project teams, business partners, system owners and other stakeholders.
--Provide consultation and support to security operations including firewall settings, system scanning, penetration tests, event monitoring and incident response? Develop security policy and support its execution.? Recommend and implement products / services for system and network security
--Knowledge and experience of the Health Care Security Rules is preferred.? Business acumen and ability to understand non-technical business topics.
--Experience in design/development three tier applications using Java/JEE, Eclipse, Spring framework, Hibernate, Oracle/SQLSever, ActiveMQ, ESB, Web logic, Appche/Tomcat, XML/XSLT, JMS, PLSQL, T-SQL and MQ Series
--At least 5 years of experience in Oracle Security and software security architecture.
--At least 3 years of experience as application architect in Enterprise Oracle/BEA J2EE Environment.
--Appropriate security certifications, such as CISSP (ISC)2, MCSA/MCSE:Security (Microsoft), CCSP (Cisco) and/or certifications from vendors a plus.
--Experience with MSFT and UNIX (LINUX) platforms required.
--Experience with security architecture related to protocols such as SNMP, HTTP, SOAP, SOA, Web Services.
--Experience with secure coding practices, thread modeling, vulnerability assessment? Experience with network and server security, including firewalls, VPN, Anti-Virus, Patch Management, etc.
--Experience with Common Criteria, FIPS and other certifications a big plus
