Need Lead/Senior Java J2EE Developer @ NC

We have a requirement with our direct client for a LEAD / SENIOR Java / J2EE Developer

 

Position: LEAD / SENIOR Java / J2EE Developer

Duration: 6 months

Location: Raleigh, NC

 

DUTIES

· Java EE application developer [Master level]

· The candidate selected for this effort will provide overall technical leadership for the project and serve as mentor to Java developers having less experience in configuring Java n-tier environments.

· Responsible for all aspects of technical design, database integration, n-tier architecture, and technical coordination of activities of other developers, DBAs and other development team members.

 

SKILLS /EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• No less than 3 years experience as a Sr. lead Java EE n-tier application developer, having experience implementing and configuring n-tier Java applications using Java (6), and Oracle (10G or higher).
• Must have demonstrated ability to lead a complex technical application development project from beginning to end.
• Experience in a Red Hat Linux (Apache Tomcat), and Windows XP environments. Familiar working with Oracle SQL stored procedures and triggers.
• Each candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills; and must demonstrate the ability to develop technical documentation that will be referenced for support of the delivered solution and subsequent enhancements; and work with staff to develop test plans and ensure successful testing and validation of all developed solutions.
• Each candidate must be an independent; self-starter having proven experience working successfully in a team environment
