Administrative Project Manager for Data Warehouse project.
Location: Olympia, WA
Duration: 18 months
Large Data warehousing PM background Important
Lead the activities and project life cycle of the P-20 Data Warehouse System Project. The Program expects the Contractor to:
a) Be fully engaged in the Project and running the day-to-day activities;
b) Effectively manage the overall execution of the Project, which includes:
i. Manage the State's business and technical staff and workload;
· Includes ERDC, DES and contracted staff
ii. Employ project management tools in a manner that successfully captures the overall status and environment of the Project
iii. Provide direct oversight to effectively control and manage the COTS vendor or other contractor
iv. Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with project partners, and
v. Manage, monitor and maintain the Project's scope, schedule and budget
vi. Provide thoughtful solution options to issues facing the Project;
vii. Communicate status and issues clearly and in a timely manner with the Program.
c) Work collaboratively with the P20 Program's other project managers, QA vendor and OCIO oversight consultant and the project's Technical lead
d) Attend weekly P-20 Program project manager meetings;
e) Attend weekly 1:1 meetings with the P-20 Program Management;
f) Deliver high-quality project deliverables in accordance with the agreed upon scope, schedule and budget; and
g) Lead the successful completion of the Project and its outcomes.
DELIVERABLES
The contractor shall provide all Deliverables, as needed, for the completion of services under this Work request. The following Deliverables are required minimums for the project. The selected Contractor is responsible for the preparation of all new Deliverables and keeping existing documents current. Documents will be delivered in electronic format using Microsoft Office 2007. The following list outlines these minimum Deliverables:
1) Project initiation documents
a. Updated Charter, as necessary
b. Stakeholder analysis and management plan
c. Updated System Requirements Document, as necessary
2) Project planning documents
a) Project Schedule
i. Work Breakdown Structure
- Functional and Technical State staff
ii. Integrated Work Breakdown Structure
- Incorporates the vendor's schedule
iii. Project Baseline
b) Integrated project management plan(s) to include
i. Scope Management
ii. Schedule Management
iii. Budget and Expense Management
iv. Quality Management
v. Communication Management
vi. Resource Management
vii. Change Management
viii. Issue Management
ix. Risk Management
3) Monitoring and control
a. Status reports
b. Issues and risks log
c. Project planning document updates
d. Project Schedule updates
e. Change Control process
4) Closing items
a. Lessons Learned
b. Post implementation report
c. Other project closeout activities
5) Other ongoing
a. Facilitate and document meetings and outcomes from meetings
b. Facilitate communication and information sharing
