Description

·         Must have at least 3+ years experience with the Cognos 8 Framework Manager/ReportNet suite of tools    on UNIX as both metadata Modeler and Report Developer

·         Must have extensive understanding of Multidimensional Analysis

·         Must understand Data Warehousing best practices and associated methodologies

·         Must have in depth knowledge of the different types of data stores that make up a complete DW environment (staging, ODS, etc.)

·         Must have 1+ years experience with writing SQL queries to validate and research data in the tables

·         Must have knowledge of UNIX commands to be able to navigate directories, invoke shell scripts, move and copy files

·         Must have experience with Oracle 9i or 10g

·         Must be able to read Relational and Multidimensional models and translate this into the development of the metadata layer in Framework Manager in conjunction with the logical and physical data models

·         Administration of the Portal, Users, Groups, Security, etc.

·         Must have strong Financial Background and working with the financial community

·         Relevant Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

·         Cognos Certification is a plus
