Qualifications:
Solutions Architect must have experience on multiple hardware and software environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems. The candidate needs experience in creating, socializing and leading the architecture of multiple projects through the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The person will also have performed in a variety of different roles of that life cycle in the past. The individual will need to be an expert in and have hands-on experience in multiple industries as a seasoned architecture practitioner. The architect should also have experience in designing and implementing solutions using several architecture design patterns like OLTP, SOA, OLAP, and ETL. The role will require the individual to be responsible for the development of the overall solution vision for the assigned projects. The architect will identify and translate system requirements into a prescribed architecture blueprinting process and build/maintain the necessary artifacts Responsibilities: The role will require collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, Technical Directors, Project Managers, and Project Teams to validate the proposed architecture solution. The project teams will use the design to provision estimates, develop construction plans and prepare implementation approaches. This architect role will also provide leadership to the development team to ensure that the realization of the solution is achieved through the delivery of the technology. The project will in addition require an individual with an in-depth knowledge of large data repositories. The individual will need to demonstrate skills in the effective sourcing, management, archival, aggregation and accessing of data repositories in excess of 200 Terabytes of data. The candidate will also need to bring the expertise of the necessary tools and infrastructure to support such a data repository.
