Requirement Title VLINK_1671   -  Product Validation Tester  Network Devices (F2F required) ,  Irvine, CA .  Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Technical ·         Follow test plan and procedures, conduct testing, log results. ·         Following standard debugging procedures proactively collect additional documentation that may assist in determining root cause of failure. ·         Setup test beds with specific operating system images, network configurations, 3rd party host controllers. ·         Familiarity with protocol test equipment such as CD Router, Ixia is a plus ·         Familiarity with running linux shell commands and tools such as iPerf is a plus ·         Must have worked with DHCP, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, WPA, etc. test scenarios ·         Use tools to update Firmware on bridge devices ·         Knowledge of how to collect bus traces for USB devices ·         Knowledge of how to collect wireshark data for debugging network failures   Process ·         Document test failures in an issue tracking database. ·         Log and keep up to date all documentation on test status. ·         Tracking all test hardware, labeling, logging, check-in and check-out.   Requirements: ·         AA Degree Electronics, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience. ·         2-4 years as an electronics/engineering or IT lab technician. ·         Problem solving ability and good judgment. ·         Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic fast pace environment. ·         Knowledge of PC hardware (Intel, AMD and Mac based) especially as it relates attached storage, networking storage and external interfaces is a plus. ·         Knowledge of Windows Vista and Mac OS is a must; Server OS, Linux, RAID experience is a plus. ·         Knowledge USB, 1394, SATA and SCSI protocols is a plus.   Rate : Open,  Number of Openings :  3 ,  Duration :  1 year   Respond to this requirement.   Regards,   Prashant Mishra VLink Inc.  IT Resource Specialist | Phone: 860-247-1400 X 109 | Fax: 860 256 8484 | prashant@vlinkinfo.com |  www.vlinkinfo.com  Hartford, CT | Noida, India - India LEGAL NOTICE: Unless expressly stated otherwise, the information contained in this message is confidential, may be privileged, and protected from disclosure.
