Requires the assistance of qualified consultants to analyze, develop and test all aspects of our mainframe Z/OS systems, including enhancements required by Federal regulations.
Required services of up to three (3) Mainframe Application Developers, and (3) Application Developers.
Services provided will include, but are not limited to the following:
· analysis of existing processes and documentation of business rules;
· creation of functional specifications;
· system analysis and design;
· design of forms;
· creation of business logic components and methods;
· transaction logging;
· documentation relative to the changes;
· development of detailed unit test and system test plans to make sure the new system adheres to the business rules;
· remediating any bugs or problems found in testing;
· creation of a comprehensive help document for users as a reference and training guide;
· development of post-production support plans; and
· the development of a user-acceptance process.
Technical Experience Requirements:
Mainframe Application Developers
Each Consultant proposed for each of the three (3) the Mainframe Application Developer positions must meet the following minimum experience requirements:
· 8 years IBM Mainframe Cobol/DB2 development
· 8 years IBM Mainframe CICS development
· 8 years VSAM experience with Variable Length Records
· 8 years SQL development
· 8 years MVS JCL experience
· 8 years TSO/ISPF experience
· 4 years XML experience
· 4 years Mainframe Technical Lead including designing detailed specifications
· 4 years mainframe migration experience using Endevor
· 4 years formal test plan development and execution experience
· 2 years InterTest as a mainframe source level debugger
· 2 years defect management (e.g. Test Director/Quality Center) experience
· 2 years familiarity with SOA
Application Developers
Each Consultant proposed for the Application Developer positions must meet the following minimum experience requirements:
· Four (4) years (minimum) System Design experience
· Four (4) years (minimum) JavaScript experience
· Four (4) years (minimum) CSS experience
· Four (4) years (minimum) HTML experience
· Four (4) years (minimum) ASP.NET experience
· Four (4) years (minimum) .NET experience
· Four (4) years (minimum) Cold Fusion experience
· Four (4) years (minimum) Web Services experience
· Four (4) years (minimum) XML experience
· Four (4) years (minimum) XSLT experience
· Four (4) years Microsoft SQL Server experience
· Two (2) years (minimum) experience with Microsoft Office suite of products including, but not limited to Access, Excel and Word
Non-Technical Mandatory Requirements:
Each Consultant proposed must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Good communication skills, oral and written.
- Familiarity with, and basic understanding of, state government procedures.
