Java Developer with Property & Casualty Insurance experience

Mid - Level Java Developer

Location: Tallahassee / Jacksonville, FL

Duration: 6+ Months

Rate: $45/hr. on C2C

 

Required Skills:

-Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience in a technical field.

-3 to 5+ years of experience as a web developer with strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Servlets, JSP, HTML, XML, and SQL Server 2000/2005/2008

-3+ years of experience working with J2EE architecture, J2EE patterns and the development of application framework.

-3+ years of experience working with industry standard development tools, preferably Rational Application Developer.

-System Development Methodology, tools, and techniques experience

-Experience with Java related technologies such as Java, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, and XML

-Experience with Web Services and Spring Framework

-Experience with J2EE application servers such as Tomcat

 

Preferred Skills:

-Agile development methodology experience including Scrum and XP.

-Insurance related application development experience.

-Property & Casualty insurance experience.

-Guidewire experience a plus
