Start Date: 1/6/2014

Contract Duration: 12 month

 

Duties and responsibilities:

Corporate duties include being onsite during normal business hours (8-5 M-F), weekly time reporting, good verbal and written communication, familiar with a large corporate IT shop, ability to communicate well with other IT sub-organizations such as DBA, Architecture, and Change Management, works comfortable in a dynamic working environment with shifting assignments and time demands.

 

Job duties include systems and data analysis and discovery, solution design, development, testing and support of mid-tier and mainframe applications. Attention to detail,

 

The candidate is responsible for documenting their work and recommendations, and be willing to share business and technical expertise.

 

There will be TBD on call responsibilities.

 

Skills: • Minimum 10 years within the IT industry • Mid-tier experience • J2EE • XML • JavaScript • Web Services • HTML • Mainframe Experience • COBOL and COBOL II programming languages • CICS • DB2 Stored Procedures, DB2 SQL (E) • Mainframe MVS environment (TSO, ISPF) (E) • JCL ((E) • A Change Management environment • Data Experience • Data analysis • IMS DB • DB2 DBMS • Oracle • Sql server • Office tools • Excel • WORD • SharePoint Preferred Skills: • Higher-level applications programming languages, such as C, C++, C#, Perl, PL/SQL, VB6. • Multi platform systems • WASD\Websphere or .NET development environments
