Total Need: 7 Consultants for Test Co-ordinator and Quality Analyst Tester
1 TC(Test Co-ordinator) to start asap in San Ramon
3 TCs to start on 1/6 in Atlanta
1 TC to start in Atlanta on 1/10
1 TC in San Ramon on 1/10
1 TC in St Louis/Atlanta on 1/20
1 QA(Quality Analyst) Tester to start on 1/15 in San Ramon
Job Requirement/Description for a TP&E (Test Planning & Execution) , TC (Test Coordinator) positions
TP&E Role & Responsibilities: Sr QA Tester with 5-6 yrs of experience
Planning
• Review applicable requirement documents to determine functional changes required to be included in end-to-end testing
• Responsible for preparing combined High Level Test Cases (HLTCs), Test Plan, and Detailed Test Cases (DTCs) and submitting data requests.
• Present the HLTCs, Test Plan, and Detailed Test Cases in External Peer Review with the client for approval
• Verify test data is available prior to test execution
• Responsible for identifying all third party dependencies that the execution team has on SME's, Order Writers, Etc. Dependencies are communicated to the environment team so the environment team can secure for execution.
• Responsible for creating the weekly Execution Plan (number of DTC's to start and complete per week) prior to the start of execution.
Execution
• Responsible for test execution of Detailed Test Case Steps
• Responsible for creating defects and updating them in HP Application Lifecycle Management
• Responsible for ensuring the flow through of all Detailed Test Cases and identifying any inconsistencies found during testing
• Responsible for providing daily status report to Test Coordinator
• Responsible for driving execution team to retest defects and execute all non blocked DTC's on the daily execution bridge.
• Responsible for communicating the detailed test case information to SME's in order for the SME to perform their required testing activity.
• Create daily test execution metrics report
Test Coordinator: 5-6 overall Experience with Test Lead experience
• Has overall responsibility to ensure that testing is successfully planned and completed for all assigned projects/release.
• Manages project and release timelines
• Ensures project remains on schedule and that any deviations from the schedule are tracked and evaluated for impact to the schedule
• Responsible for ensuring an adequate testing window in coordination with application groups
• Responsible for providing project/release requirements, requirement reviews/scrubs, and critical dates within EIT. Works with clients and the PMO to ensure that all requirements are provided to support testing efforts.
• Coordinate all requirements and testing defects through development up until time of retest.
• Is the point-of-contact for issues and questions regarding all project/release-ETE testing efforts for both the testing team and the client/PMO
• Facilitates external walkthrough of test plans and test cases if required as well as any ad-hoc meetings between End-to-End testing personnel and the client/PMO concerning any testing matters
• Address and coordinate identified training needs/demo's by the joint test management team
• Develops the "Execution Communication Plan" which lays out the bridges, q chats and resources which will support each bridge. Communicates the plan to all impacted parties. Obtains concurrence.
• Develops the list of any additional support names from vendors and key applications to ensure dedicated resources are available to support the ETE testing bridges. The additional support is over and above the support the environment team is securing where specific development resources are required.
• Responsible for opening the daily execution bridge and q chat each morning at the start of testing. The test coordination team will help to drive progress on the Execution Bridge focusing on triage when the execution team is blocked.
• Responsible for ensuring that the execution bridge understands what defects are available for retest and communicates defect ready for "retest" to the execution team.
• Responsible for managing defect triage if a defect does not have an ETR or if a defect is going back and forth between applications.
• Responsible for escalating to leadership if a defect is not making forward progress within the agreed upon timeframe.
• Responsible for preparing the Final Release Notification and defects reports
• Communicates EOD status to the PMO and leadership
